How to find your way to Krems - once there, the venue and most hotels and B&B are within 10 minutes walking distance.

When you fly to Austria to visit Krems, Vienna Airport (Wien Schwechat) will be the best airport for your journey (although Linz Airport will also work).
From Vienna International Airport, you have several options to reach Krems:

A train from the airport vienna will take approximately 1.5 - 2 hours, depending which time you are arriving.
... by car to Krems
Take the A4 highway to vienna, then > A23 highway > A22 Highway > S5 Highway to Krems. About 1h driving (car rental available at the airport).
... or by Airport Shuttle Service to Krems

Train
Krems has good train connections, make sure you plan to go to "Krems an der Donau" or "Krems/Donau Bahnhof", as there are other/smaller places called Krems as well.
For example, a train trip from Munich in Germany will take approximately 5.5 to 6 hours.

Car
To reach Krems, it´s about 1 hour driving from Vienna. Other distances for example: 4h from Munich, 6.5h from Berlin, about 4.25h from Ljubljana.
Parking in Krems is divided in green and blue zones. Green Zones are 4€/day, blue zones are short-term only and 1€/hour.
There a parking garages as well like:
Parkhaus Bahnzeile (17 min. walk to venue), 10 € per week
Campus West (right opposite to venue), 20 € per day (6-22h), 24 € for 24h
Your hotel/accomodation may have parking areas as well - please contact them, if unclear.
